What scratching surface is best for a kitten?

Lucy suggests there's no single surface that every kitten prefers. Many enjoy natural sisal because it provides good resistance for scratching (don't forget to rough the surface with a metal scourer), while others prefer cardboard or jute surfaces. If you're unsure, watch what your kitten is already attracted to, such as carpets, furniture or doormats, and choose a scratching surface with a similar feel. Matching their natural preference makes it much easier for them to use the scratching post.
Are tall scratching posts suitable for kittens?

While your kitten may be small now, they'll grow quickly, and a taller scratching post gives them plenty of room to stretch as they develop. Lucy explains, every kitten has their own preferences, so if your kitten shows more interest in scratching carpets or rugs, consider offering a horizontal scratching surface alongside a vertical post. Providing different scratching directions helps your kitten discover what they enjoy while encouraging healthy scratching habits throughout their life.

Are these products sold with a warranty?

Yes, all of our products are sold with a 6 month warranty, this covers manufacturer faults, it does not cover wear and tear or damage from use of the product. If a product is faulty, we provide a returns label.

How much does shipping cost, where do you deliver to, and when can I expect my delivery?

Shipping is free to UK mainland addresses, this excludes the Scottish Highlands, Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man and Northern Ireland. Shipping generally takes 2-3 working days.
