Large Cat Trees

Give your cat more room to climb, scratch, play and relax with our collection of large cat trees. Designed for cats who love exploring different heights, these spacious multi-level cat trees combine elevated perches, resting areas and dedicated scratching surfaces in one practical place.

Choose from trees in grey, beige, cream and green to find a style that works with your home. Across the range, you’ll find designs with sisal or jute rope scratching posts, giving cats a satisfying place to stretch and scratch while helping keep their attention away from sofas and other furniture.

With multiple levels to discover, there’s plenty to keep curious cats occupied throughout the day. Depending on the design, you’ll find plush platforms, hammocks, beds, ladders and hideaways for resting alongside scratching posts and toys for when they’re feeling more energetic.

Helpful Buying Advice

We teamed up with Cat Behaviourist and author Lucy Hoile to provide expert product advice, helping you choose the right products for your cat with confidence.

How do I get my cat to use a larger cat tree?

I'd recommend giving your cat time to investigate a new cat tree rather than placing them on it yourself. Cats generally prefer to explore unfamiliar objects on their own terms, and a large cat tree can initially feel like a significant change to their environment. Position the tree somewhere your cat already enjoys spending time, a spot near a window can be particularly appealing for cats that enjoy watching birds or the outside world, while more sociable cats could benefit from placing it in a room where the family spends time.

You can make the tree more inviting by placing familiar bedding, a favourite toy or a few treats on the lower platforms before gradually encouraging exploration higher up. Interactive play can help too. Try moving a wand toy around the base and different levels of the tree so your cat begins to associate it with positive experiences.

If the tree has sisal or jute scratching posts, placing it close to an area where your cat already likes to scratch may encourage them to investigate. Most importantly, make sure the cat tree feels stable when your cat climbs or jumps onto it. A tree that wobbles can make some cats reluctant to use it again.

Be patient. Some cats will be climbing to the highest perch within minutes, while others may need several days or even weeks before they feel completely comfortable. Avoid forcing your cat onto the tree; allowing them to explore at their own pace can help build confidence and create a positive association with their new space.

Are large cat trees suitable for multiple cats?

Large cat trees are an excellent choice for multi-cat households, provided the tree is appropriately sized and designed for the cats using it. I prefer designs with several resting places, platforms and scratching areas because they give each cat more choice over where they spend their time, and reduce competition.

A large multi-level cat tree can create additional vertical territory, allowing one cat to rest higher up while another uses a different platform or scratching post.
