Give cats more places to scratch, climb, play and sleep without taking up a large amount of floor space. This 101cm tall cat scratching barrel combines three enclosed cat hideaways, two jump platforms, a plush top bed, sisal scratching posts and three dangling toys in one cat activity centre.
With a base of 50cm x 36cm, the vertical design is particularly useful in smaller homes or multi-cat households where floor space is limited. The three separate hideaways give cats individual sheltered places to rest, while the platforms and top perch provide additional levels for climbing and lounging.
Two posts are wrapped in 4mm sisal rope, providing dedicated surfaces for scratching. Giving cats an appropriate place to scratch can help redirect this natural behaviour away from sofas and other household furniture.
The scratching areas sit alongside the climbing and resting spaces, so cats can move between scratching, playing and relaxing without needing separate pieces of cat furniture.
Two 35cm x 24cm jump platforms create additional levels between the barrel sections, encouraging climbing and movement through the tower.
There are also three dangling toys for batting and pouncing, adding interactive play to the scratching barrel and helping provide stimulation for indoor cats.
The multi-level layout provides several separate resting and activity areas while using a base measuring only 50cm x 36cm. It can accommodate one to three cats, making it a gret option where several cats share the same living space but separate cat beds, scratching posts and activity centres would take up too much room.
